FLEXnet Delivery verifies country acceptance by looking up the endpoint IP address to determine if the country is on the denied countries list as outlined by the Bureau of Industry and Security.
Users in blocked countries will not see products on the FLEXnet Delivery customer portal. Additionally, users cannot access files via FLEXnet Delivery even if they use an alias email from an approved country, since FLEXnet Delivery still verifies the receiving IP address once the user attempts to download.
You can override and change the existing list of restricted countries on a per-product basis – corrections can be made if a country's status changes. |
Display FLEXnet Delivery Content on Your Site
Better promote your software by displaying FLEXnet Delivery’s Product Content view – which includes relevant files and versions of your products – on your Web site. The Product Content view can be displayed in a frame alongside your content, and users clicking on items can be taken to FLEXnet Delivery.
